Molecular nanocarbon science has been actively studied in recent years, and many compounds based on new synthetic methods have been reported. In this paper, we introduce molecular nanocarbons we recently reported from the viewpoint of topology. Starting with the ring that is the basis of topology, we have succeeded in developing molecules with more complex topologies such as belts, cages, catenanes, and knots.
