From June 19 to 21, 2024, we attended the 58th summer school of organic reactions held at Ayaha Lakeside Hotel by Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture. M1 students Tsubasa Okumura, Hiroto Shogano, and Rikuo Tanase presented their posters. Additionally, Dr. Akiko Yagi gave an invited lecture, and the discussions continued until the very last minute. Despite a train delay on our way to Shiga, we managed to complete the event successfully. The presentations by young researchers and peers provided us with a lot of inspiration and greatly boosted our motivation for our research activities!
