Prof. Itami have received 2016 Ta-Shue Chou Lectureship Award from Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica, Taiwan (http://www.chem.sinica.edu.tw/index_en.php). Congraturations!!

Ta-shue Chou Memorial Lecture was established in 2001 and mainly focused on the frontiers of organic chemistry, because Director Chou was a synthetic chemist in his days. Ta-shue Chou Lectureship Award is awarded to outstanding research works in development of new synthetic methodology and applications of these method for carbon-rich materials and transformative bio-molecules.

The Lectureship is usually held sometime in February or March to be closer to Director Chou’s birthday.
