Prof. Itami has been selected as this year’s Job Lecturer at Memorial University at Newfoundland, Canada! He delivered three lectures entitled “Synthesis of carbon nanorings and carbon nanobelts” (July 12^th, 2023), “Crafting super molecules: Creativity is just connecting things (public lecture)” (July 12^th, 2023), “Catalyst-enabled molecular nanocarbon synthesis and nanocarbon biology” (July 13^th, 2023). He is the first Japanese chemist receiving this recognition.
